Moving continues. Meanwhile I've added a bunch of new photos to Flickr, including some from the show Yoda's House played at Stove art gallery here in ABQ earlier this month.
Sorry it's been slow around here lately. Been busy with moving out of the Bunker and into a new secret command center. Things should pick up again in March...
Today in the Etsy shop: item #9717982, "hari p0tr," another piece of amazing fan art with an enchanting (one might even say WIZARDLY) erotic subtext. This would really dress up someone's bathroom or garage work area. I think. 8.5"x11" original art. Colored pencil over computer printout.
New in the shop: "mountain side." A story of thrill at high altitude. Your brain cells sizzle and pop for lack of oxygen. But it is good. Your spirit animal came and told you what none of your friends or family had the courage to tell you. It will all be over soon. 5.5"x7" original art. Ink on Bristol, drawn in January 2008.
Made eight new Valentine cards for Valentine's Day '08. I've put them in a Flickr set with all the cards from the last three years. Let love shine throughout the cosmos like a raging grease fire in a Denny's kitchen.
Today in the Etsy shop: "007." It's a calm pastoral scene. But what's that sound? Oh, that's just blood pounding in my brain from my third cup of coffee. KEEP LOOKING AT THE TREES. 5.5"x7" original art. Ink on Bristol, drawn in January 2008.
Today in the Etsy shop: "006." Not the most exciting title in the world, but maybe you can think of something better? "How about 'Mt. Lazerfuck'?" you say? Look, if you're not going to take this seriously, never mind. 5.5"x7" original art. Ink on Bristol. Drawn in January 2008.
All Albuquerqueans are cordially invited to a rock occasion that will happen at Winning a couple of weeks from now. Yoda's House will welcome Philly's Aunt Dracula, their spectacular gimmick friend Waffle Wolf, and local up-and-comers Olvidese for an evening of deep thoughts and hott musics.
Today in the Etsy shop: a robotic insect chitters somewhere behind you. Your cell phone is getting nineteen bars and your ear just started bleeding. This place used to be a rocky shoreline before Dr. Robotnik got hold of it. Now the tidepools are full of antifreeze and the rain smells like Windex. 5.5"x7" original art. Ink on Bristol. Drawn in January 2008.
New drawing in the Etsy shop today. Is this the road to the Emerald City? You'd better hope so. 5.5"x7" original art. Ink and colored pencil on Bristol, drawn in January 2008.
Item #9244692 in the Swizzlestuck Etsy Shop is a charming little number drawn in January '08. I think it represents what a person sees when they've eaten too much sugar or when they get hit in the head with a piece of lumber. 5.5"x7" original art. Ink and colored pencil on Bristol. This is quite simply the most insane value we've ever offered here, bar none period. GEM MINT TEN.
UPDATE: Sold to Karen in Albuquerque! '90s fanfiction comes alive in this vintage drawing now available in the Swizzlestuck Etsy Shop. 8.5"x11" original art. Colored pencil over computer printout. Drawn in September 2006. ENGAGE.
The other day I got an invitation from MySpace friend Devils Tower to join the art site 10Eastern.com, which lets people share and collaborate on drawings they make with a web-based MS Paint-style program. I just got started this afternoon, but you can see the first couple of drawings I did in my gallery. Stunning. I've also made a folder of some of my favorite drawings from other artists that I've found so far.
