bored in Burque
A week ago I played drums with Yoda's House at Stove. While waiting for the show to start I wandered around and took a bunch of photos. I'm not one of those people who likes to take photos of interesting people or notable events. Just concrete and wires.

I'm a big fan of concrete and wires.
And motel signs, especially.
If you come to Portland again you should look at the motel signs on interstate avenue. or is it street? hell i dunno.
Albuquerque's Central Ave. has a lot of charm leftover from its Route 66 days, at least in patches. Lots of dingy old motels that you can't imagine anyone in their right mind actually staying in.
I'd love to visit Portland and the whole northwest again. It's been too long and I didn't really get to see much of it when I was there.
