Golden Age Zip-O

Zipfield Octavius Matic, obscure cousin of Dahlia DeMatic, as seen here in his Earth-Two incarnation, before Dahlia existed and his name was Zippo and he was a blatant but unconscious ripoff of Matt Groening's Akbar/Jeff. Drawn sometime in the early 1990s. Looks like I was trying to make a coaster or a pog or something. He is standing in front of a gadget store.

Art in the Yard

Something from '06...Art Ant stands in front of his house brandishing his magic pencil. (heh heh) Get your mind out of the gutter. Click to enlarge. (heh heh)

Recently added a button (to your right) that will take you directly to all of this year's comic strip posts. Also added a couple new background images. #17 is a modified version of the upholstery pattern from a London bus, which I stole from this awesome Flickr set. Also, thanks to Melissa for letting me use her fab lobster pattern for background #18.

Losers Suckers Fools Noobs Poindexters

Hey all. Remember me? I'm your dad. I guess your mom hasn't told you about me. Well, I used to have a blog around here that I would update sometimes, and...aw hell. I'm no good at this. Look kid, here's a jam comic that the 7000 B.C. comics group (including Joe and I) made last Sunday during our meeting. Enjoy. It's a cute little Ottie story in PDF format (not my idea) that we all took turns speed-drawing while eating pizza and chatting. Any complaints about continuity or art quality should be directed to my new talent agent, Chris.
